German photographer Mat Hennek was born in 1979 and completed his studies at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier. First with a focus on portrait photography, especially in the field of music business. His photographs of classical musicians such as Kent Nagano, Claudio Abbado, Anna Netrebko and Thomas Quasthoff, in particular, gained popularity. Since 2006 Henneck has devoted himself increasingly to landscape photography, like his series 'Woodlands', which has an almost meditative effect on the viewer. The photographer takes his landscapes exclusively in analogue form and without any post-processing. Hennek worked among others for the clients: Montblanc, Lufthansa, Rolex and Volkswagen.
